Ordinary rented accommodation or youth accommodation?
If you are a student and need somewhere to live in Roskilde, Ringsted or elsewhere in central Zealand, we can offer you two types of accommodation:
- Ordinary rented accommodation. You can get on the waiting list against payment of a fee. Everybody above the age of 15 can get on the waiting list.
- Youth accommodation. A place on the waiting list is free of charge. Youth accommodation is reserved for people who are more than 15 years old and enrolled in education or training.
How to get youth accommodation
You will find all youth accommodation under 'Søg bolig'. Use Google translate on the websites in order to understand the search criteria.
Many youth accommodation flats in Roskilde are administered by RIU-Roskilde. Under 'Søg bolig', you will see whether the individual youth accommodation is administered by Boligselskabet Sjælland or RIU-Roskilde.
